Today, Jan is joined by Nikki Valencia. Nikki’s life and healing started when she found herself in the 12-steprooms, which was her first surrender. Her second deepest surrender is when her wife died which led to the development of the Joan of Heart. Joan of Heart is a pay-it-forward mentorship program developed with Infinite Love along with the teachings of Eckhardt Tolle. Presently Nikki is leading a course entitled, 90 Days to The Heart of The Matter. It is a daily, present, conscious way of life that takes you towards observation, intention and freedom in 90 days and beyond. Over the course of their discussion, Jan and Nikki talk about the power of being present and observing your thoughts, how to give yourself and others grace, and how to be less reactive and more present in the moment. Nikki shares her multiple experiences of childhood trauma and how she found healing through the 12-step programs and the teachings of Eckhart Tolle. They explore the stages of grief and the importance of being aware of reactive responses and emotions. The conversation ends with Nikki talking about her new adventure for 2024, creating a one-woman: “Sissy La, La’s Take It As It Comes, in a 21st Century Kind of Way.
